Ubikvitin karboksil-terminalna hidrolaza 1 jest enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom USP1 sa hromosoma 1.[5][6]

Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira člana porodice ubikvitin-specifične obrade (UBP) proteaza koji je deubikvitinirajući enzim (DUB) sa His i Cys domenima. Ovaj protein nalazi se u citoplazmi i cijepa ubikvitinski dio prekursora spojenih na ubikvitin i ubikvitiniliranih proteina.
Protein specifično deubikvitinira protein u putu popravke DNK Fanconijeve anemije (FA). Karakterizirana je alternativna transkripcija sa varijantama prerade.[6]
