Alfa-1,3-manozil-glikoprotein 2-beta-N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza jest enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom MGAT1 sa hromosoma 5.[5][6]

Funkcija
urediPostoji više od 100 različitih glikoziltransferaza uključenih u sintezu i vezanje proteina vezanih i za lipidne oligosaharide. UDP-N-acetilglukozamin: alfa-3-D-manozid beta-1,2-N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza I je posredujući enzim Golgijevog aparata, bitan za sintezu hibridnih i složenih N-glikana. Protein, kodiran jednim egzonom, pokazuje tipska obilježja transmembranskog proteina tipa II. Vjeruje se da je protein bitan za normalnu embriogenezu.[6]
