Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira manozil (alfa-1,6-)-glikoprotein beta-1,6-N-acetil-glukozaminiltransferazu, glikoziltransferazu uključenu u sintezu proteina vezanih za i lipid-vezane oligosaharide. Promjenama oligosaharida na površini ćelije, glikoproteini izazivaju značajne promene u adheziji ili migracijskom ponašanju ćelije. Povećanje aktivnosti kodiranog proteina može biti u korelaciji s progresijom invazivnih malignosti.[6]
