Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira klasa 1 aminoacil-tRNA sintetaze, mitohondrijjske leucil-tRNK sintetaze. Svaka od dvadeset aminoacil-tRNA sintetaza katalizira aminoacilaciju specifične tRNK ili tRNK izoakceptirajuće porodice sa srodnom amino kiselinom.[7]
