Funkcija

Ovaj gen kodira citosolni enzim koji je odgovoran za metabolizam cisteinskih konjugata određenih halogeniranih alkena i alkana. Taj metabolizam dovodi do stvaranja reaktivnih metabolita koji mogu dovesti do nefrotoksičnosti i neurotoksičnosti.[5]
