AGPAT9

Glicerol-3-fosfat aciltransferaza 3 (GPAT-3) jest enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom AGPAT9 sa hromosoma 4.[5][6][7][8] GPAT-3 je znana u kao :
- 1-acilglicerol-3-fosfat O-aciltransferaza 9 (AGPAT9),
- lizofosfatidna kisela aciltransferaza teta (LPAAT-teta), ili
- pridruženi protein 1 metastazi raka pluća.

Funkcija
urediGlicerol-3-fosfat (G3P) aciltransferaze (GPAT; EC 2.3.1.15), kao što su GPAM i GPAT3 (ovaj enzim), kataliziraju početni korak de novo sinteze triacilglicerola (TAG), pretvaranjem glicerol-3-fosfata (G3P) do lizofosfatidne kiseline (LPA).[6]
