Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira podjedinicu dinaktina od 42,3 kD, makromolekulski kompleks koji se sastoji od 10 podjedinica veličine od 22 do 150 kD. Dinaktin se vezuje za mikrotubule i citoplazmatski dinein. Uključen je u različite ćelijske funkcije, uključujući transport na relaciji ER – Golgijev aparat, centripetalnim pokretom lizosoma i endosoma, formiranja vretena, kretanja hromosoma, iedarnog pozicioniranja i aksonogeneze. Ova podjedinica, poput ACTR1A, je protein vezan za aktin. Ova dva proteina su jednake dužine i dijele 90% aminokiselinskog identiteta. Prisutni su u kompleksu dinaktina, u konstantnom omjeru od približno 1:15.[7]
