Funkcija uredi
Gen ZSCAN4 kodira protein uključen u održavanje telomeraa+ i sa ključnom ulogom u kritičnoj osobini miša matičnih ćelija embriona, unatoč ćelijskom starenju i održavajući normalan kariotip za mnoge diobe ćelija u kulturi tkiva.[4]
