Funkcija
urediČlanovi porodice gena cinkovih prstiju i homeoboksova su jedarni homodimerni transkripcijski represori koji stupaju u interakciju s A podjedinicom jedarnog faktora-Y (NF-YA) i sadrže dva C2H2-tipa cinkovih prstiju i pet homeoboksnih domena koji vežu DNK. Ovaj gen kodira člana 2 ove genske porodice. Osim što stvara homodimere, ovaj protein heterodimerizuje s članom 1 iz porodice cinkovih prstiju i homeoboksova.[7]
