ST6 (alfa-N-acetil-neuraminil-2,3-beta-galatozil-1,3)-N-acetilgalaktozaminid alfa-2,6-sijaliltransferaza 4, znana i kao sijaliltransferaza 3C (SIAT3-C) ili sijaliltransferaza 7D (SIAT7-D) jest sijalitransferazni enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom ST6GALNAC4.[5]

Funkcija
urediST6GALNAC4 je membranski protein tipa II koji katalizira prijenos sijalne kiseline iz CMP-sijalne kiseline na galaktozne supstrate. Kodirani protein preferira glikoproteine, a ne glikolipide kao supstrate i pokazuje ograničenu specifičnost supstrata, koristeći samo trisaharidnu sekvencu Neu5Ac-alfa-2,3-Gal-beta-1,3-GalNAc. Osim toga, uključen je u sintezu gangliozida GD1A iz GM1B. Enzim se obično nalazi u Golgijevom aparatu, ali se može proteolitski obraditi u rastvorljiv oblik. Ovaj protein je član porodice glikoziltransferaza 29. Za ovaj gen pronađene su varijante transkripta koje kodiraju različite izoforme.[5]
