PLVAP
Protein plazmalemske vezikule je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom PLVAP.[5][6]
Tkivna specifičnost
urediGen PLVAP eksprimira se u plućima, bubrezima, srcu, aorti, posteljici, mišićima, hipofizi, nadbubrežnim i mliječnim žlijezdama, bešici, limfnim čvorovima, koštanoj srži, dušniku, gastrointestinalnom traktu, jetri i tumorskom endotelu.
Struktura
urediOvaj glikoprotein sastoji se od 442 aminokiseline, uključujuči malu N-terminalnu regiju, jedan transmembranski fragment i C-terminalni vanćelijski domen. Vanćelijski domen sadrži četiri N-glikozilacijska mjesta i dva velika super namotana alfa-heliksna domena, što ukazuje na štapičastu strukturu proteina. Veličina proteina je, ovisno o nivou glikozilacije, od 50 do 60 kDa.
