Čvorovski modulator 1 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom NOMO1 .[5] [6] [7]
Ovaj gen kodira protein za koji se prvobitno mislilo da je povezan sa porodicom gena kolagenaza . Jedan je od tri vrlo slična gena u regiji duplikacije na p kraku hromosoma 16 . Ova tri gena kodiraju blisko povezane proteine koji mogu imati istu funkciju. Protein kodiran jednim od ovih gena identificiran je kao dio proteinskog kompleksa koji učestvuje u signalnom putu čvorova tokom razvoja kičmenjaka . Mutacije u ABCC6, koje se nalazi u blizini, umjesto mutacije ovog gena povezane su sa pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE).[7]
