Got1p je protein koji pomaže u transportu vezikula kroz Golgijev aparat ćelije.[ 8] Got1p ima izračunatu masu od 15,4 kDa i sastoji se od 138 ostataka. Vjeruje se da je protein membranski protein koji se proteže preko tetra i evolucijski je konzerviran. Homolozi proteina pronađeni su u Caenorhabditis elegans , Plasmodium falciparum i u sisara. GOT1 je obično blisko povezan sa Sf2p (kodiran sa sft2), koji je još jedan protein slične funkcije. In vivo , otkriveno je da uklanjanje ova dva proteina dovodi do defekata u prometu endosom -Golgijev aparat i ER -Golgijev aparat . In vitro , uklanjanje got 1, posebno, rezultira defektom u transportu ER-Golgijev aparat, u odnosu na vezanje vezikula na Golgijeve membrane.
