Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira protein koji se vezuje za ssDNK, a koji aktivira daleko uzvodni element (FUSE) c-myc i stimulira ekspresiju c-myc u nediferenciranim ćelijama. Regulacija FUSE-a pomoću FUBP-a se događa jednolančanim vezivanjem FUBP-a za nekodirajući lanac. Pokazalo se da ovaj protein funkcionira kao ATP-ovisna DNK helikaza.[6]
Interakcije
urediPokazalo se da protein 1 koji vezuje elemente daleko uzvodno reaguje sa MAPK14[8] i SMN1.[9]
