CPEB1
Citoplazmatski poliadenilacijski element sa vezanim proteinom 1 jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom CPEB1.[5][6]
Ovaj gen kodira člana citoplazmatskog elementa poliadenilacije (CPE) koji se veže porodicu proteina. Ovaj visoko konzervirani protein vezuje se za specifičnu sekvencu RNK koja se naziva CPE, u 3'UTR nekih iRNK. Slični proteini u žabljem rodu Xenopus i miševima funkcioniraju da indukuju citoplazmatsku poliadenilaciju utišanih iRNK s kratkim poliA repovima, što rezultira njihovim translacijama. Članovi ove porodice proteina regulišu translaciju ciklina B1 tokom embrionskih ćelijskih dioba. Za ovaj gen je pronađeno više transkripata, varijanti koje kodiraju različite izoforme.[6]
