Funkcija
urediARHGAP21 prvenstveno funkcionira kao protein koji aktivira GTPazu (GAP) za CDC42 (MIM 116952) i regulira kompleks Arp2/3 kompleks ARP2/3 (MIM 604221) i dinamiku F-aktina u Golgijevom aparatu, kontrolom aktivnosti CDC42 (Dubois et al., 2005 15793564). Postoji malo znanstvene literature o ARHGAP21, ali nedavni pregledi ističu da on ima važnu ulogu u citoskeletnim procesima kod raka, transportu tvari unutar ćelije i lučenju insulina [7]
