Funkcija
urediProtein kodiran ovim genom je u klasi III proteina, ovisnih od piridoksal-fosfata klase III mitohondrijske aminotransferaze. Katalizira pretvaranje glioksilata u glicin, koristeći L-alanin kao donora amino grupe.[7]
