SEPT3
(Preusmjereno sa SEPTIN3)
Neuronski-specifični septin-3 jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom SEPT3 sa hromosoma 22.[5]
Aminokiselinska sekvenca
urediDužina polipeptidnog lanca je 358 aminokiselina, a molekulska težina 40.704 Da.[5]

Funkcija
urediOvaj gen pripada septinskoj porodici GTPaza. Članovi ove porodice su potrebni za citokinezu. Ekspresija je pojačana retinoinskom kiselinom u ljudskoj teratokarcinomskoj ćelijskoj liniji. Specifična funkcija ovog gena nije utvrđena. Alternativna prerada ovog gena rezultira višestrukim varijantama transkripta.[5]
