Funkcija
urediZa ovaj gen su pronađene dvije alternativno prerađene varijante transkripta koje kodiraju različite izoforme. Manja izoforma proteina kodirana kraćom varijantom transkripta nalazi se samo u ćelijama zaraženim HIV-om-1.[7]
