Mitohondrijski piruvatni nosač 2 (MPC2), znan i kao moždani protein 44 (BRP44), jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom MPC2 sa hromosoma 1.[5][6][7]

Funkcija
urediMPC2 dio je porodice proteina mitohondrikski nosači pirivata (MPC) [9] Ovaj protein uključen je u transport piruvata kroz unutrašnju mitohondrijsku membranu, u pripremi za reakciju piruvat-dehidrogenaze.[10]
