Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira protein koji je član porodice debeloglavih proteina. Izlučeni protein sadrži dvije regije bogate cisteinom i uključen je u razvoj embrija, preko svoje interakcije sa Wnt signalnog put.
Može djelovati ili kao agonist ili kao antagonist Wnt/beta-katenin signalizacije, ovisno o ćelijskom kontekstu i prisutnosti kofaktora flint 2. Aktivnost ovog proteina je također modulirana vezivanjem za Wnt koreceptor LDL-receptorski povezani protein 6 (LRP6).[6]
