Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira tkivno ograničeni jedarni transkripcijski aktivator koji se prvenstveno eksprimira u limfoidnom tkivu. Izolacija ovog proteina je prvobitno definirala visoko konzerviranu porodicu gena LAF4/MLLT2 jedarnih transkripcijskih faktora koji mogu funkcionirati u razvoju limfoida i onkogenezi. Kod nekih pacijenata sa akutnom limfoblastnom leukemijom , ovaj gen je pronađen spojen sa genom za mijeloidnu/limfoidnu ili mešovitu leukemiju. Za ovaj gen je pronađeno više alternativno prerađnih varijanti transkriptakoje kodiraju različite proteinske izoforme.[7]
