THRSP
Tiroidnim hormonom inducibilni jetreni protein je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom THRSP.[5][6]
Protein kodiran ovim genom sličan je genskom proizvodu S14, pacovskog gena, čija je ekspresija ograničena na jetru i masno tkivo i kontrolirana je nutritivnim i hormonskim faktorima.
Pokazalo se da se ovaj gen eksprimira u jetri i adipocitima, posebno u lipomskim modulima. Također je utvrđeno da se eksprimira u lipogenom raku dojke, što ukazuje na ulogu u tumorskoj kontroli metabolizma lipida.[6]
Ranije je THRSP bio među identificiranim reguliranim genima u prefrontalnom korteksu spontano hipertenzivnih pacova (SHR/NCrl) i Wistar-Kyoto (WKY/NCrl) pacova koji su pokazivali ponašanje nepažnje.[7] Nakon toga, prekomjerna ekspresija THRSP-a izazvala je nepažnju, ali ne i hiperaktivno i impulzivno ponašanje miševa, što ukazuje na to da ovaj gen ima ulogu u fenotipu obilježenom nepažnjom ADHD -a.[8]
