Funkcija
urediProtein kodiran ovim genom član je porodice proteina ovisnih o cikličnom adenozin-monofosfatu inhibitora protein-kinaze. Studije sličnog proteina na pacovima sugeriraju da ovaj protein može stupiti u interakciju s katalitskom podjedinicom cAMP-ovisne protein-kinaze i djelovati kao kompetitivni inhibitor. Prijavljena su najmanje tri alternativno prerađene varijante transkripta koje kodiraju isti protein.[6]
