NUPL1
Nukleoporin p58/p45 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom NUPL1.[5][6]
Ovaj gen kodira člana porodice nukleoporina koji dijeli 87% identiteta sekvence s nukleoporinom p58 pacova. Protein je lokaliziran na jedarnom rubu i sastavni je dio kompleksa jedarnih pora (NPC).
Sve molekule koji ulaze ili izlaze iz jedra difundiraju ili se aktivno transportiraju pomoću NPC -a. Okarakterizirane su alternativne transkripcijske varijante, koje kodiraju različite izoforme.[6]
