Funkcija
urediOvaj gen kodira mali, monomerni, pretežno nestrukturirani protein (106 aminokiselina, 12,3 kDa, izoelektrična tačka 9,39).[8] To je pozitivni regulator signalnog puta Wnt / beta-katenina. Ovaj protein stupa u interakciju s represorom beta-katenin posredovane transkripcije na jedarnim pjegama. Smatra se da konkurentno blokira interakcije represora s beta-kateninom, što rezultira povećanom regulacijom beta-kateninskih ciljnih gena.[6]
