Sapindales je red cvjetnica iz razreda Magnoliopsida, divizija Tracheophyta, carstvo Plantae.[1]

APG II sistem iz 2003. omogućio je fakultativnu segregaciju porodica koje su sada uključene u Nitrariaceae.
U Dahlgrenovom klasifikacijskom sistemu, Rutaceae su svrstane u red Rutales, nadred Rutiflorae (koji se takođe naziva Rutanae). Cronquistov sistem iz 1981. koristio je nešto drugačiji opis, uključujući sljedeće porodice:
Razlika od APG III sistema nije toliko velika koliko može izgledati, jer biljke iz porodice Aceraceae i Hippocastanaceae ostaju u ovom redu (obje su uključene u porodicu Sapindaceae). Vrste koje sada čine porodicu Nitrariaceae u APG III također su pripadale ovom redu u Cronquistovom sistemu, kao dio porodice Zygophyllaceae, dok su one koje su sada u porodici Kirkiaceae bile dio porodice Simaroubaceae.
