Funkcija
urediNSF i SNAP (proteini za vezanje NSF) opći su elementi aparata ćelijskog membranskog transporta. Sekvenca predviđenih humanih proteina od 312 aminokiselina kodiranih NAPG-om je 95% identična sekvenci goveđeg gama-SNAP-a. NAPG u ovom procesu posreduje trombocitnu egzocitozu i kontrolira membransku fuziju.[6]
