Antwerpen
Antwerpen (francuski: Anvers), grad u Belgiji smješten u estuariju Schelde, jedna je od najvećih evropskih luka još od 19. vijeka. Važno je trgovačko i finansijsko središte povezano s Rajnskom industrijskom oblasti, a poznat i po obradi dijamanata. U starom centralnom dijelu grada, nad kojim se uzdiže vitki toranj gotičke katedrale, nalaze se lijepe stare zgrade.

Sa populacijom od 536.079 stanovnika,[1] je najnaseljenija općina u Belgiji, a sa metropolitanskom populacijom od preko 1.200.000 ljudi, druga najveća metropolitanska regija u zemlji nakon Brisela.[a][3]
