Funkcija

Protein ZNF9 sadrži 7 domena cinkovog prsta i vjeruje se da funkcionira kao RNK-vezujući protein. Ekspanzija CCTG u intronu 1 gena ZNF9 rezultira miotonusnom distrofijom tip 2 (MIM 602668) (upisan u OMIM).[7]
