Protein cinkovog prsta PLAGL2 je protein cinkovog prsta koji prepoznaje DNK i/ili RNK.[7]

Gen se ispoljava u gliomu, tako da suzbija ćelijsku diferencijaciju i podstiče ćelije da postanu sličnije matičnim ćelijama Takva se plastičnost uočava u ćelijama glioma, zajedno sa nepoznatim faktorom diferencijacije.[8]
