SNTA1
Alfa-1-sintrofin je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom SNTA1.[5][6][7] Alfa-1 sintrofin je signal-adaptirajući protein i služi kao skela za različite signalne molekule. Alpha-1 sintrofin sadrži PDZ domen, dva plekstrinska sistema homologije i 'jedinstveni sintrofin' domen.
Funkcija
urediDistrofin je veliki citoskeletni protein sličan štapiću, koji se nalazi na unutrašnjoj površini mišićnih vlakana. Nema ga kod pacijenata sa Duchenneovom mišićnom distrofijom, a u smanjenim količinama ima ga kod Beckerovih mišićnih distrofičara. [Protein koji kodira ovaj gen je protein periferne membrane, koji je povezan sa distrofinom i sa njim povezanim povezanim proteinima. Ovaj gen član je porodice gena za sintrofin, koja sadrži najmanje još dva strukturno srodna gena.[7] PDZ domen sintrofina-α1 (SNTA1), najrasprostranjenija je izoforma u srcu. Zabilježeno je da se vežu za C-krajev domen srčanih naponskih kanala natrija (SkM2), uzrokujući promjenu aktivnosti ionskih kanala, što dovodi do sindroma dugog QT.[8][9]
Interakcije
urediPokazano je da sintrofin alfa 1 ulazi u interakcije sa distrofinom,[5][10][11] Nav1.1[11]Nav1.5 [11] i akvaporinom 4.[12]
