Giannina Braschi

Giannina Braschi (San Juan, Portoriko, SAD, 5. februar 1954.) je portorikanska pjesnikinja, a trenutno živi u New York Cityju.[1] Smatra se utjecajnim i revolucionarnim glasom u savremenoj latinskoameričkoj književnosti.[2][3][4][5] Piše eksperimentalnu literaturu, miješajući elemente poezije, teatra, eseja, mjuzikla i manifesta. Braschi je poznata po tome što je napisala prvi Spanglish roman pod nazivom Yo-Yo Boing! (1998.), postmodernu trilogiju poezije Empire of Dreams (1994.), i među-žanrovski roman filozofske fikcije, United States of Banana (2011.). U svom književnom stvaralaštvu ona istražuje živote latinoameričkih imigranata u SAD-a.[6]
