Ladislav I (mađarski: László I; 1040. - 29. juli 1095.), poznatiji kao Sveti Ladislav (mađarski: Szent László), je bio kralj Ugarske od 1077. do 1095. godine. Iako Mađarska ilustrovana hronika naglašava da Ladislav "nikada nije stavio krunu na glavu, jer je želeo nebesku, a ne zemaljsku krunu smrtnog kralja", svi njegovi novčići prikazuju ga kako nosi krunu, što sugeriše da je Ladislav zapravo krunisan oko 1078.[1][2][3]

Prije stupanja na prijesto, zajedno sa svojim bratom Gejzom borio se protiv svog rođaka Salomona. Nakon Gejzine smrti,[4] pošto su njegovi sinovi bili maloljetni, Ladislavovi sljedbenici su ga proglasili kraljem,[5] koje je po tradiciji pripadalo najstarijem članu kraljevske dinastije. Tokom dugog perioda građanskih ratova, ojačao je svoju poziciju i donio niz zakonskih propisa čime je unio red u kraljevstvu. Poslije kanonizacije 27. juna 1192. godine, Ladislav je postao uzor narednim ugarskim kraljevima.
