====Piloty–Robinsonovska sinteza pirola====

Aldehid reagira sa diaminom za međuproizvod di - [[imin]] (R-C=N-N=C-R). U drugom koraku, između njih odvija se [3,3] - [[sigmatropno preuređenje]]. Dodavanje [[sona kiselina|HCl]] dovodi do zatvaranja prstena i gubitka [[amonijak]]a, kada se formira pirol.
