Markijan
Markijan[1] (Flavije Markijan August; 392 - 27. januar 457) bio je bizantijski car od 450. do 457. godine. Tokom njegove vladavine došlo je do oporavka Bizantijskog carstva u ekonomskom i vojnom smislu. Sa druge strane, njegova izolaciona politika je dovela do uništenja Zapadnog rimskog carstva od strane barbarskih napada koje je predvodio Atila.
