Lily of the Valley
"Lily of the Valley" je singl britanske rock grupe "Queen". Pjesma je uvrštena na njihov treći album Sheer Heart Attack iz 1974. godine i jedna je od nekoliko balada s albuma. Pjesma je 1975. godine objavljena kao singl, za područje UK zajedno sa pjesmom i Now I'm Here a za područje SAD-a sa pjesmom Keep Yourself Alive.[1]

Dio teksta pjesme se referira na pjesmu Seven Seas of Rhye sa albuma Queen II, u dijelu gdje se kaže messenger from Seven Seas has flown, to tell the King of Rhye he's lost his throne.
Obrade uredi
Pjesmu Lily of the Valley 1980tih je obradila grupa Game Theory, čiji je frontmen Scott Miller izveo verziju koja se pojavljuje kao bonus track na njihovom Real Nighttim iz 1985. godine, produciranom od strane Mitcha Eastera.[2]
Pjesmu je također obradila grupa Dream Theater, a zajedno sa pjesmama "Tenement Funster" i "Flick of the Wrist", našla se na bonus disku njihovog albuma Black Clouds & Silver Linings.[3]
Druga obrada iste pjesme našla se na Jim Stevensovom albumu Connective Energies, objavljenom 27. januara 2017.
