NLRP5, skraćeno od NOD-u sličan receptor pirinskog domena sa proteinom 5, je unutarćelijski protein koji ima ulogu u ranoj embriogenezi. To jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom NLRP5 sa q kraka hromosoma 19.[5][6][7] NLRP5 je također poznat kao NACHT, LRR i PYD domeni koji sadrže protein 5 (NALP5), homolog mater proteina (MATER), PYPAF8, PAN11 i CLR19.8, i jedan je od od 14 pirinskih domena koji sadrže članove porodice NOD-sličnih citoplazmatskih receptora poznatih i sisarima.[8][9]
