Español: Pueblos y ciudades de todo el mundo celebran hoy, 8 de abril, el Día Internacional del Pueblo Gitano, y Madrid, en concreto su río, ha acogido un ritual de gran carga simbólica durante el que gitanos y gitanas lanzan al Manzanares flores y velas encendidas en recuerdo de decisión del pueblo gitano de abandonar su tierra originaria en el Punjab (India) y comenzar un éxodo por todo el mundo, fluyendo como los ríos sin atender a fronteras.
